At UNIPAK The shop, sustainability is part of our DNA, and we’ve always believed that it starts with simple, everyday choices. Today, we’re proud to announce the launch of our new recycling campaign: “Fréza Ma Tkéba,” a community-driven initiative developed in collaboration with arcenciel, one of Lebanon’s most respected NGOs in environmental and social sustainability.
Why “Fréza Ma Tkéba”?
The name “Fréza Ma Tkéba” says it all: separate, so nothing goes to waste. It’s a reminder that the journey toward sustainability begins with us, with what we do at home, at work, and in our communities. And when it comes to paper and carton waste, the process is as simple as sorting, dropping off, and trusting that our actions matter.
A Bigger and Better Recycling Network
Thanks to the support of arcenciel, we’ve added three new drop-off points, bringing the total to nine accessible collection bins across Lebanon. These bins are ready to receive your paper and carton waste, making recycling more convenient than ever.
Why It Matters
Recycling is essential in a country where waste management is a growing challenge, “Fréza Ma Tkéba” offers a practical, people-powered solution. Every box, carton, or sheet of paper you discard in the dedicated recycling bins helps conserve natural resources, reduce landfill waste, and lower environmental pollution. But more importantly, it sets a new standard for how we engage with waste as individuals and as businesses.
By sorting our recyclables and dropping them off at designated locations, we’re giving materials a second life. We’re supporting local recycling industries. We’re sending a message: change is possible when we all take part.
A Community Effort
This campaign is close to our hearts because it’s built on collaboration and education. arcenciel will manage the collection and sorting of materials from all nine drop-off points and send them recycling centres across the country, where they will be processed into new raw materials, ready to be reused.
Ready to Start?
Getting involved is easy:
If you’re a business sending their online orders in paper-based packaging like paper bags or corrugated boxes, you can spread the word about “Fréza Ma Tkéba” on your socials and let your customers know about the campaign and where they can drop off their collected paper and carton waste. Direct them to this page to help them learn more about the initiative and find their nearest drop-off point.
If you’re an individual, it’s even easier to join the movement. Start sorting at home, find the closest drop-off location, and discard your paper and carton waste there.
Take pride in knowing that your waste is being properly recycled and reused.
Let’s make recycling part of our routine.
